This website gives some suggestions onto the best ways websites are user-friendly.  A lot are pretty self-explanatory and maybe considered obvious, but it's nice to have a consolidated list to make sure we're adhering to every part to make it the most user-friendly.
Fast load times may be hindered by adding a video component, unfortunately, but I think it's still worth trying at least to add a video to the intro page to make it more pleasing to visit.

1. Mobile Compatibility
2. Accessible to All Users
3. Well Planned Information Architecture
4. Well-Formatted Content That Is Easy to Scan
5.  Fast Load Times
6. Browser Consistency
7. Effective Navigation
8. Good Error Handling
9. Valid Mark-Up & Clean Code
10. Contrasting Colour Scheme
11. Usable Forms
